Obituary of Louise Anne Sweet

Louise (Lidovina) Anne Sweet, 82, of St. Jude’s Apartments died on Wednesday Nov. 16, 2016 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a brief illness. She was born in Port Henry, NY on Jan. 6, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Patrick (Patsy) J. and Antoinette Scorsone Esposito. She was educated in the Troy School system and was the beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Sweet who died in 1995. Louise had been a warehouse worker for many years working for the Handleman Co. in Latham and had also worked for the Gabriel Nassau Toy Factory in Troy. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill and a member of their Rosary Society. Earlier she was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Troy. She has lived in Troy, Clifton Park and Wynantskill for most of her life. Louise was a member of the N. Greenbush Senior Citizens and the Wynantskill Senior Citizens. She is the beloved sister of Albert (Virginia “Jean”) Esposito of Pleasantdale, Thomas (the late Thomasine) Esposito of Watervliet, Patricia (J. George) Durivage of N. Greenbush and the late Joseph Esposito (his wife Sally of Cohoes) ; niece of Ann Kaelin of Troy; also survived by several nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and grandnephews. Funeral will be held Monday at morning at 8:45 am from the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., (Cor. of 115th. Street & 4th. Avenue) in Lansingburgh, 565-4th. Avenue Troy, NY 12182 thence to St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill where at 9:30 the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be from 3-6 pm Sunday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy.
