Obituary of Beverly M. Eates

Beverly Mary Eates, 83, of Clifton Park, peacefully passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018.

Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Adeline L. LaGue Devlin and the beloved wife of Joseph A. Eates, until his passing on June 13, 2016.

Beverly retired from the Charles V. Weber Machine Shop in Troy where she had been the Secretary.

Dedicated to her faith, Beverly was a communicant and served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park. Beverly was an avid bowler and loved sewing, knitting, crocheting and doing pattern work and alterations as a seamstress and was a member of the American Sewing Guild.

She is survived by her dear friend of 52 years Joyce (Jack) McBride of Clifton Park and her cousin Charlie (late, Audrey) LaGue.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Rd., Clifton Park, NY 12065.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065 on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Interment will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.

Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to the St. Edward's Church Building Fund (see church mailing address above), in memory of Beverly M. Eates.
