Obituary of Vivian E. Curran
Vivian E. Curran, 71, of Lansingburgh, peacefully entered into eternal life on Friday, November 16, 2018, surrounded by her family.
Born in New Albany, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Annabelle Wakefield Colglazier and the beloved wife of George E. Curran with whom she celebrated their 48th Wedding Anniversary on November 8th. She was a graduate of Spencer Business Institute in Louisville, Kentucky.
Vivian was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Mrs. Curran was a very active member at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lansingburgh and with their Women's of Trinity, enjoyed to knit and crochet, and was an avid craftsperson which she was quite accomplished at and extremely enjoyed. For many years, she volunteered making caps for newborns at local hospitals. She also enjoyed travelling to York, Maine with her beloved George and family.
Beloved wife of 48 years to George, devoted mother of Bryan Curran, Andrew Curran and James Curran, sister of the late Richard Colglazier, cherished grandmother Kelly Marie Curran, Nolan Patrick Curran, Kathryn Moira Curran, Sullivan James Curran, Stephanie Lynn Curran, and Thomas Michael Curran, adored great grandmother of Bentley James Curran.
Vivian's funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 21st at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, Corner of 115th Street and Fourth Avenue in Lansingburgh by Rev. Dr. Desmond Francis, Rector.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh),Troy, NY 12182.
Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to Trinity Episcopal Church, 585 Fourth Avenue, Troy, New York 12182, in memory of Vivian E. Curran.
