Obituary of Michael Reed

The Angels came to take Michael "Skeeter" Reed home on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:15 a.m. at  the Albany County Nursing Home.

Born in Troy on December 3, 1965 to Carolyn K. Warner Reed of Troy and Wesley Reed, who passed away in 2010. Michael was educated in the Troy School District.

Michael had been employed by Price Chopper in Troy until he became ill. He had also formerly been employed as a  Security Guard.

Michael leaves one son; Michael Reed, his mother Carolyn Reed, his siblings; David (Stacey) Reed, Wesley (Hope) Reed, Mark Reed, James Reed, Juan Irizarry, Melissa (Joseph) Reed-Braudakis and Leslie (Jermaine) Reed-Bradley, his uncle; James D. Warner, his aunts; Eleanora Carey and Ruth (Johnny) Lawyer, also survived by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his father, Michael was also predeceased by his godmother Louise Morris.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation from 11:00 a.m. to Noon on Wednesday, February 7, 2018  and to his funeral service that day beginning at Noon both in the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182.
