Obituary of Francis J. Enzien

Francis “Frank” Joseph Enzien, 90, of Coburg Village Way, passed away peacefully on Saturday Sept. 28, 2024 at his home with his family beside him. He was born in Troy, NY on July 30, 1934 and was the son of the late Francis J. and Rose Gargiulo Enzien.
Frank was a US Army Veteran serving honorably from 1955-1961. He was a teacher for the Burnt Hills/Ballston Lake School District for over 30 years. Frank enjoyed playing Bocci and cards with his friends. He enjoyed to travel and wintered in Bird Bay, Venice, FL for over 25 years. He was a communicant of St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park.
He is the beloved husband of the late Rosemarie Enzien who died on June 20th of this year. They were married on June 15, 1957; devoted father of Mark F. Enzien (Colleen), Francis Martin Enzien (Helen), John Michael Enzien (Dorrie) and Michael Vincent Enzien (Patricia); brother of the late Peter Enzien (Jane survives); Cherished grandfather of Patrick, Elaina, Tucker, Nicholas, Jake, Chelsea and Grace; great grandfather of Hunter and Emery; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Rd. Clifton Park, NY 12065.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-6 p.m. in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.
Interment with full military honors will be in the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd. Schuylerville, NY.
