Obituary of Linda Lee Gladd

Linda Lee Gladd, 85, of Halfmoon, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024 at the Heritage House in Troy after a brief illness.  She was born on Aug. 2, 1939 in Saranac Lake, the daughter of the late Richard and Edna Mary Charland Gladd. Linda had been a real estate agent in the Capital District for many years, retiring from the Roberts Real Estate in Loudonville, NY. 

Linda loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was always there to babysit and travel with family. Linda was exceptionally outgoing. She always enjoyed family gatherings. Linda was a wonderful cook. She always enjoyed a good glass of white wine.

She is the devoted mother of Richard G. (Lysanne) Leaper, Christopher P. (Julie) Leaper, Carlie S. (Hon. Paul) Pelagalli and the late Matthew Leaper; sister of June Bedore and Cindy (Jack) Walsh; grandmother of Greg, twins Danielle and Andrew, Madeline, Jack, Jacob and Matthew; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday Sept. 13, 2024 at 10:30 am at Corpus Christi Church in Ushers, 2001 US 9, Round Lake, NY  12151.

Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna, NY.
