Obituary of Janice L. Wilson

Janice L. Wilson, 63, of Lansingburgh, peacefully entered into eternal life on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany.

Born and educated in Troy, New York, she was the daughter of Gloria Cunningham Wilson who passed away 9 days after Janice on August 15, 2024 and the late Lawrence Wilson. She was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School.

Ms. Wilson, affectionately know n as Janice was employed by Durham School Transportation Services in Averill Park and previously employed at Hannaford.

Janice enjoyed being with her family and friends.

Devoted sister of Diane Keefe, cherished “Aunt Janice” of Adam (Melissa) Keefe, Cole Posniewski and Lilly (Steve) Posniewski.

A Calling Hour will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Prayer Service with time for Reflections at 11:00 a.m. all in the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182.

Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.

Janice’s family wishes to express their most sincere gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at Albany Medical Center for their loving comfort and care provided to Janice and her family.
