I am so sorry to have missed the services for Jeanne, I always called her Jeanne. We stayed in touch for years but sadly I hadn’t seen her for quite some time. She was the most dedicated dog lover that I have ever met. My sincere condolences to the family.9

Jeannie and I spent many happy times together, visiting family and friends. Jeannie always loved going to the carnivals, and always laughed when I would get sick after ever ride. But one of her greatest loves were her dogs, Sprocket and Pepsi (pepsi wepsi as Jeanne would call her). When Sprocket hopped in the care, Jeannie loved him so much she'd get in the back seat, and by the look Sprocket gave her, how could she say no? I was blessed to be able to share these wonderful memories with Jeannie.

Jeannie talked about her brother John all the time, she loved him very much. I always loved this picture of the 3 of us.

I will always remember Jeannie's smile, you just couldn't help but smile back when she smiled at you. I first met Jeannie many years ago when my brother and her became friends, they would stop to visit us often, Jeannie always went out of her way to play with my two daughters, asking them how they were, Jeannie really did have a wonderful heart and a quiet spirit.

I met Jeannie years ago when she and my son Joseph were riding bikes and walking her dogs. Jeannie was most definitely an animal person. She loved her dogs and was a good friend. Will always remember her walking with her dogs and laughing having a good tIme.

There are many memories of my dear cousin, Jeanne, and the ‘gang’ of neighborhood kids who grew up together. Jeanne lived right across the street and we were together all the time, often meeting up at our Grandparents house. I remember all the years that we played in the softball league together, riding our bikes to practices and games. I remember many fun times over the summers swimming in our pool. I remember lots of sleep-overs in the ‘playhouse’ that my Dad built for Chris and I. I remember many times asking Gramma Gorcesky to take us all to the Country Drive-In for ice cream, (she was always willing to go). I remember how we would all make our own costumes and go trick-or-treating together. I remember many, many holidays with the families all together sharing great food and much laughter. I remember her intense love for dogs and many walks with our pets over the years. I remember how excited she was to get her green Corvaire car and taking us for rides in it.
I think this quote sums up very nicely my feelings: “In my heart, you will forever be linked with grandma’s house, living room forts, and the power of family and friendship all rolled up into one”.
Cousin, you will be missed by all who knew and loved you.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Jeannie?
A: One of my favorite qualities about Jeannie was that she is someone you could just look into her eyes and see her smile and know she was a pure soul. If there is someone I trust in this world, it is someone who loves dogs just as much as she did. You could tell the dogs she had; Spotty, Harley and Lexi were her whole world. She spent her time with those girls and showered them with love, a love a human can never replace.
I got to meet Jeannie since she was actually a tenant to my Dad, Dr. Richard Green but, she came to be someone much more than that and so near to both of our hearts. I moved away from Saratoga but, luckily every time I would come back to visit I would get to see her as she was a neighbor. I would always catch her on a walk with her late Harley, or Lexi and no matter how tired she was from walking those girls around, she would always meet me with her infectious smile.
Jeannie is one of the most beautiful and kind people I have ever met and an amazing friend. I will really miss seeing her and talking with her, I really will. I just know she was reunited with kisses from all of her 4 legged angels and what a sweet reunion that must have been. There are special places for special people like Jeannie, I will sincerely miss her from the bottom of my heart. I love you always Jeannie <3 Say hi to those girls for me!

We were so very sad to learn about Jeannie. As we sit here thinking about her, we remember some of those times when she came to play with our daughters Dale and Chris in the play house Ken built for them...good times enjoyed, and many sleepovers throughout those years. (even some great Halloween trick-or-treating costumes. One, that I think is my favorite, was when they were transformed into three "senior ladies"! They were perfect and great pals.).
I guess during a time like this we realize how much our relatives and friends really mean to us...
Everyone we've loved is a gift to be treasured, a loss to be mourned, and a part of our hearts forever.
Sweet Niece, you will be remembered by us.

Growing up we were lucky to live across the road from Jeanne and her family. I remembered when she was very young holding her in my arms. She was loved by her grandma and grandpa who lived right next door and her grandparents across the road . Even though as family members grow up and move, family love follows them.res
