Obituary of Patricia K. DeLaMater

Patricia K. “Patti” DeLaMater, 80, of Colonie, formerly of Troy, peacefully entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Shaker Place in Colonie.

Born in Albany, New York, she was the daughter of the late, Larue (late, Emma Veronica) DeLaMater and Edith Elsworth DeLaMater Logan, and was a graduate of Troy High School.

Patti had been employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.

She enjoyed drawing and painting pictures, crossword puzzles and absolutely loved cats.

Sister of Katherine (Michael) Jackson, James (Mary Rose) DeLaMater and the late Lawrence E. (late, Arlene) DeLaMater, also survived by her nieces and nephews and their families.

Patti’s family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Margaret Duker and the staff on the Buckingham Unit at the Shaker Place Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Colonie for the wonderful care and love provided to her and her family.
