Obituary of Lawrence D. Polak

Lawrence “Larry” D. Polak, 63, of Halfmoon Heights died on February 3, 2023 at his home of natural causes.  He was born on Nov. 16, 1959 and was the beloved son of Elaine Beers Polak of Halfmoon.  Larry had been a sheet rocker and taper in the Capital District for many years.  He was a music and guitar enthusiast.  Collecting guitars as a hobby.  He enjoyed fishing and riding his bicycle 10-15 miles on most days.  Most importantly, Larry was a devoted son to his mother Elaine.

He is the brother of Thomas Polak of N. Adams, MA and the late Michael “Mickey” Polak and Carolyn Prebble.

Visitation will be on Friday February 24, 2023 from 2-4 pm in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.

Summer interment will be in Long Lake Cemetery, Long Lake, NY.
