Obituary of Michelle V. Gordon

Michelle V. Gordon, 53, of Watervliet, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany.

Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of John Smith and the late Eva Mae Motley Smith.

Michelle had been employed by Durham School Services in Watervliet.

As well as being survived by her father, she is also survived by her children Manuel. L. Gordon, Jr. and Zaquawn Gordon, both of Watervliet, step-children; Tyrone Carter of Troy, Simard Stanford of Schenectady, Kinyetta Gordon of Albany, Taija Lewis, and Janay Lewis both of Troy and the late Bianca Gordon, sister of Robert Lewis, Charles Ayotte, Rose Barthelmas, Tajmet Motley and Victoria Lewis, cherished grandmother of Nasir Gordon, Tahliek Gordon, Mylina Gordon, Naomi Gordon, Kimani Gordon, London Gordon, Khamara Carraway, Adonis Gordon and 13 step-granchildren, aunt of Terrell Curry of Troy, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Home Going Service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Ave (at the corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182. Visitation will be held that day in the funeral home from Noon to 12:55 p.m.

Interment will be held in Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.

Michelle’s family wishes to express that any donations of flowers or gifts be sent directly to the funeral home.
