Obituary of Sandra J. Hughes
Sandra J. “Sandi” Hughes, 55, of Cohoes, beloved life partner of Douglas J. “Doug” Tobin of Cohoes, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022.
Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Richard L. and Jeannette B. Farragut Hughes, Sr. and the wife of the late Harry D. Rivers, Jr.
Sandi had been employed as an Office Manager by the New York State Health Department in Albany.
Sandi loved holidays, family gatherings, camping, shopping, caring for animals and was an avid collector of jewelry and fashionable clothing.
Beloved life partner of Doug, loving sister of Richard L. Hughes, Jr. (Caitlin), Brian Hughes (Andrea), Valerie Hughes-Haines and Dorothy “Dee-Dee” Hughes-Warren (Todd), cousin and best friend of Donna Elmendorf, also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
