Obituary of Eugene Frederick Rohrwasser, Jr.

Eugene Frederick Rohrwasser, Jr., 87, of Ballston Lake died on Monday Nov. 15, 2021 at his residence in the loving care of his family.  Gene was born in Green Island, NY on Oct. 24, 1934 and was the son of the late Eugene and Adele Zilinski Rohrwasser.  He had served in the National Guard, and had a lengthy career with New York Telephone, retiring as a manager from the former AT & T.  He was the beloved husband of Beverly J. Mikhitarian Rohrwasser, whom he married on August 5, 1956.  Gene loved to travel, enjoyed camping at Coldbrook Campgrounds in Wilton and riding his Honda motorcycle.  He was a member of the Troy Lodge of Elks, BPOE 141 in Troy, NY.  He and Beverly wintered in Hudson, FL and especially loved their time dancing together and spending time with good friends.

Survivors in addition to his beloved Beverly are his devoted children, David E. Rohrwasser (Susan) of Clifton Park, Eugene F. Rohrwasser (Andrea) of Charlotte, NC, Mark C. Rohrwasser (Jennifer) of Paradise Valley, AZ and Susan M. Wyborny (Patrick) of Carrollton, TX; cherished grandfather of Kelly Zimdars, Justin Rohrwasser, Gene Rohrwasser, Stephanie Demeny and Evan Rohrwasser; beloved great grandfather to Greyson and Connor Zimdars; brother of James Rohrwasser (Regina) of Latham, NY; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a calling hour on Saturday, November 20^th from 11-12:00, at Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9, Clifton Park, NY 12065.  Funeral Services immediately following at 12 noon.
