Howard prepared the following for publication;
"Father into your hands, I commend my spirit!
Shalom, my friends, By the time you read this, I will be in the glorious Garden with Jesus and Mary and my earthly family who prepared the way home for me, my mother, Mary, my father, Howard and my sisters Mable, Muriel, Ellen, Norine, Ethel and Evelyn plus my friends Joan Margaret and Joe Morizio. Most of all, I’ll see my granddaughter Alexis Netanya, in her glory, who went home before we got to spend time knowing what a beautiful angel she is.
Please do not mourn for me. I’ve had a beautiful life on this earth. God has given me everything including my daughter Lisa (who passed away), My two sons Tom and Tony. I’m also blessed to have many friends in Hilo, Hawaii, where I received beautiful care and TLC from the Hilo Medical Center For Stroke. I also received beautiful care from St. Joseph’s parishioners, especially Laureen Salboro and my friend from Mechanicville, Rosella Amann.
May God bless you all and I’ll Keep a light on for you all."
