Obituary of Saroj Bala Kashyap

Saroj Bala Kashyap, 74, of 78th. Street in Elmhurst, New York passed over on Monday May 24, 2021 at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, NY after a brief illness.  She was born in Delhi, India and was the daughter of the late Bihari and Kamla Vohra.  Saroj was educated in India, receiving her bachelor's in Education.  She came to the United States in 1997 and became a US citizen.  She was the beloved wife of the late Vidya Bhushan Kashyap.

She is the devoted mother of Supriya Madan of New York, Aarti Kashyap of Washington State and Ruby Kashyap of Clifton Park, NY; she is the cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren.  Her siblings all reside in India.

Hindu funeral service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday May 26, 2021 at the Gardner Earl Memorial Chapel at Oakwood Cemetery, 186 Oakwood Avenue Troy, New York 12182
